Being, Doing, Becoming

Join us March 8, from 8:30-3:30pm as we be and do to become
!

"These sessions are like hooking me up to an I.V.
I just feel the life coming back.!"

Teaching Pastor

the three-part journey

Our lives as leaders are a three-part journey always involving an interplay of "being and doing" which then forms who we become. The critical question as this journey progresses is "do we and those close to us like who we are becoming?" Leaders who can answer "yes" are learning to integrate their being and doing for the reward and gift of a life of continual becoming, a life that blesses others.

Being
How do I learn to abide trustingly in Jesus for the health of my soul and for a power beyond my own in ministry? What habits and postures of the heart invite Jesus repeatedly into my center?

Doing
How do I serve beyond feelings of exhaustion, confusion, or dissatisfaction? How do I let God serve my community through my unique design and my God-given essence?

Becoming
Am I becoming someone I believe in? How do I cultivate my true self as a love legacy for others?

This retreat will
combine spiritual deepening, personal and ministry visioning, and character "becoming" for more nourished, Spirit-empowered leaders.

New Location!

The retreat space plays a major part in creating interior space to be with and hear from God. We have selected a special place for this retreat. ARC Retreat Center is situated on 90 acres of beautiful pine and hardwood forest. A spring-fed creek flows into a nearby, undeveloped lake. There are trails through the snow-covered woods for walking and reflection. The lodge has a chapel, library, bookshop, large and small meeting areas, fireplaces, private rooms, and other spaces conducive to rest and reflection. ARC is located about 10 minutes north of Cambridge, MN just north of Minneapolis. (See map below)  It's more than worth the drive!

Overnight stays before or after the retreat day are available. Check with the retreat center (details below).
